Hey girls..

How have you all been? Im working soo hard and with it coming up to christmas and working in the city centre, the shops are just madness! No rest for the wicked ;)

Anyway I have been asking/winging/BEGGING for a pair of Hunter wellingtons for what seems like for ever and by chance the other day I finally had them in my possession!! Scouring the aisles at Costco (Adore their cakes NomNomNom) I found a couple of pairs for £55, Bargain!! Out of sheer luck they had my size and the colour I wanted, I couldn't believe it. The box is a little battered but who cares, they are absolute beauts. I got the Original Gloss Tall ones in black. They are such good quality and very comfy, I assured the boyf they were an investment.

Eeee I cant't wait to pop these on the winter, they'll be fab for getting to and from work in the snow :)

I love the little place for you name and number 'just incase' you loose them ha. I can now also say I wear the same wellys as the queen.. how posh!! haha.

Hello girls,

Just a quick post to rave about my current fake tan. There are soo many different kinds of fake tan on the market from lotions to mousses and sprays its always just so hard to decide which one to pick up when your stood in front of them all in Boots.

My all time favourite so far is definitely St. Moriz (yes the cheap version of St. Tropez, which you can now pick up over on Amazon!!) I tend to use the spray more than the mousse but there both just as good.

However I picked up the Piz Buin Tanning Lotion + Colour Dial and i've discovered something amazing :)
It is quite expensive at around £18/19, you do get 240ml there are 2 sides to the lotion a dark side and a light side by using the dial you choose how light/dark you want your tan and the pump automatically mixes for you. Brilliant for an everyday glow and then a darker colour for those nights out.

Positives:

Leaves a nice smell, no biscuity/tacky smell you usually get.
You can pick you tan shade.
Dries really fast.
Very easy to apply.
No streaks.

Negatives:

I can't think of any :)
Depending on how much and what shades you use, i found that the dark side of the lotion ran out before the light. But however it is all usable.

So there you have it, my go to fake tanner atm. Hope this is of some help to someone :)

Hey girlies :)

Sorry i've not been here all week been soo busy. Wednesday was my day off and the day I finally became a brunette, eeek (post to follow). In the afternoon I popped into Manchester with my bestie for a spot of christmas shopping and a Nando's yumyum! The Christmas markets have now started in Manchester and I can't wait to get down there sometime next week for a look round and some mulled wine :)

I've been off work poorly the last 2 days :(, hence the no head shot. But I thought i'd show you what I wore today when I finally pulled myself together. I love this jumper, black and white is everywhere at the minute and i've been trying to find the perfect blk/white jumper to add to my wardrobe. I picked this one up from New Look for a reasonable £24.99. These knee high orangey socks were an absolute bargain as well at £2, and the little bow on them is too cute.

Do you ever wonder if the stars shine out for you?

Hey..

I'm off to the hairdressers tomorrow to change my bright blonde hair to brown. eeek!
I have always had blonde hair from being a youngster, even though in my early teens I started to dye it a brighter blonde, I am VERY nervous about becoming a brunette. Around this time last year I decided to cut my hair really short, which I think was the best hair choice i've ever made. It's so much easier to handle short and super quick to get ready in the morning :)

Anyway i've been scouring the internet for references and idea's on colour for tomorrow (god i'm scared), thought i'd share a few of my idea's with you.

So i'm thinking of going for something like these, the Victoria Beckham one is a little to blonde but i don't know if I may have to do something like this first as I am soo blonde at the minute i'm worrying that the colour may not take straight away.

Has anyone else done anything quite drastic with there hair recently?

Sweet like chocolate

Hello.. Hope you are had a good weekend. Mine consisted of working and catching up with the boyf.

Im not a huge Lipstick fan i'm more of a lip balm product girlie but the odd lipstick does stand out to me and thought i'd share with you my latest :)

I recently received the Lush Cosmetics Lip scrub Sweet Lips. It is as good as it sounds with a vanilla and chocolate scent/flavour, you gently rub the sugar scrub into your lips and it leaves them feeling instantly soft and smooth. My next lush purchase will definitely be the Bubblegum version of this, its soo PINK and smells Beautiful!!

Lush Cosmetics - £4.95

The Lipstick of choice at the minute is probably a shocker as its from the 17 range, which is mega cheap at around £4. However the Sheer Moisture Lipstick in Balmy Beige gives just that hit of nude colour and glisten to your lips. As the title suggests it is a sheer finish, it's really creamy and easy to apply.

Boots 17 Range - £4.29

Last but not least this next product was bought on a whim. I'm not really a lipgloss lover but the whole idea of teeth whitening suckered me in. The Bourjois Smile enhancing Gloss is a double ended product, one end is the gloss which comes in 5 different shades and a clear version. The other end however is teeth whitening gel which you apply straight to your teeth! The gloss claims to contain 'white focus' pigments which enhance the tooth brightness immediately. I wouldn't go as far as saying it brightens your smile but it gives a nice minty smell and the gloss I chose is really nice.

Bourjous - Around £7 *i think*

Last night I went to see The Help at the cinema with my mama. Even though i'd read the book and knew what to expect I was still a blubbering mess ha, it is such a good film and very emotional!! I would definitely recommend it to anyone!! GO SEE!!
Been at work again today, Mary Portas was filming in Manchester and was really hoping to bump into/catch a glimpse of her as I work in retail but it wasn't my lucky day.
Hope you like my outfit :) The boots I wore today are from Topshop, their Amaazingly comfy and so versatile they can be worn with almost anything. Leggings are also a recent purchase, they look really nice with just a simple T.
Waiting for the boyf to return from football so I am just going to whip him up some tea and sit down to do my nails. Nail post tomorrow ??

The First One..OOTD

Hey girlies :)

So after spending yesterday lounging, shopping and starting my lil blog :D today was back to work. Don't get me wrong I love my job but who wouldn't rather have a day off?? This morning I did NOT want to get out of bed, it's getting soo cold out now and I wasn't looking forward to standing on that train platform.

After my first post yesterday i've had some lovely comments, so exciting :) so I thought today I'd post my first OOTD i'm so excited to be doing all this myself after reading so many others over the years. Please excuse my pictures i'm hoping they will get better over time...

I also wore my little leopard print headband I mention in the last post :) The Topshop slippers/shoes are really comfy and definitely spruce up any outfit. This is the first time i've worn the tights and I was a little apprehensive as there a bit out there but i've had nothing but nice comments all day and they will definitely be making more appearances. As you can see i'm proudly wearing my poppy :)

Right I'm off to put my tea on and settle down with my latest book, The Help, which is currently on at the cinema's so I need to finish it quick so I can mosey on down there and watch it on the big screen :)

Recent Additions...

First proper post.. Here goes..

Day off today and had to pick up a few birthday presents but who can resist buying something(s) for themselves when shopping for others.

Recently i've bought a few of the pencil skirts that are EVERYWHERE at the min and some new black skinnies, so today I got some basic T's and jumper from New Look.

The middle one is just a sleeveless T but I really liked the print on the front, the far right is short sleeved over-sized T, the jumper is quite thin and was recently seen on Lauren Pope on The Only Way Is Essex.

I also picked up this Leopard print headband from River Island, like I mentioned I was trying to hunt down presents but this just had to be mine...

This will be perfect to pair with my NEW leather jacket (Bday present from the boy) to keep my ears warm on the way to work. Im currently trying to hunt down the perfect hat/scarf/glove combo but not come across one yet..

Apart from a new lipstick which can be another post this is it for today, hope this gives you an idea of my style and i'll be back soon girlies :)

Hello blogging world!

ooo isn't this exciting!! I've wanted to start my own blog for such a long time but never had the time/guts to get on with it.
Well here I am.. I follow/read soo many blogs that are all ready out there and I suppose I find it exciting the thought of just typing all my thoughts down into this screen and maybe no-one will read it, but theres the opportunity for ANYONE can read it? My main inspiration has definitely been Lily at LLYMLRS and Laura from Buy Now, Blog Later (originally Lollipop26).

Anyway this is just a place for me to ramble on about my love for fashion, beauty and any other goings on in my day to day life. Hope you enjoy :)
